El Programa de Familias Latinas Saludables es un programa gratuito para residents del Condado de New Castle interesados en que su familia y su hogar sea más saludable.

    El programa está específicamente diseñado para ayudar a las personas sin seguro, para aquellos individuos que necesitan evaluaciones y cuidados preventivos, para aquellos con enfermedades crónicas como alta presión, asma, diabetes o cáncer, y para los niños con asma.

    • Buscar maneras para que usted y su familia estén más saludables.
    • Aprender a prevenir problemas de salud.
    • Programar citas para revisiones o problemas médicos.
    • Ponerle a usted y a su familia en contacto con servicios para diabetes, asma, mamografías, detección del cáncer, detección del VIH, salud dental y otros cuidados médicos.

      The Healthy Latin Families Program is a free program for New Castle County residents who are interested in making their family and home healthier.

      The program is especially designed to help people without insurance, individuals who need screenings and preventive care, those with chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes or cancer, and children with asthma.

        As part of the program, a trained Spanish-speaking Promotora (health promotor) will help you:

        • Find ways to make you and your family healthier.
        • Learn how to prevent health problems.
        • Make appointments for health problems or check-ups.
        • Connect you and your family to services for diabetes, asthma, mammograms, cancer screenings, HIV testing, dental and other health care.
